Ver tantos e tantos vídeos de situações de guerra e disparidade faz a cabeça de uma pessoa sofrer diversas alterações. A primeira que se pode ver superficialmente é uma tristeza que vem do coração, uma comoção com o sofrimento alheio e que faz com que se queira chorar, e, por muitas vezes consegue-se. Acho que é uma das únicas situações em que realmente me fazem deitar lágrimas em nome de algo. Tanto do sofrimento quanto da estupidez e crueldade humana, em que nós próprios nos instigamos a subjugar, maltratar, humilhar, torturar e matar inúmeros irmãos e irmãs de nossa própria espécie. O pior é, em nome de quê? Poder. Ainda que a maioria aja por reflexo do medo, no final, este sofrimento dissimulado pelo mundo tem suas raízes na busca pelo poder, controle e subjugação da maioria da raça humana.
Ainda que todos nós saibamos que sofrimento, tortura, fome e miséria não são coisas positivas e gostaríamos todos de eliminarmos estes problemas do mundo em que vivemos, nós simplesmente não tomamos ação alguma quando nos deparamos em nossas vidas com algum destes problemas em nossa frente, chegamos alguns a tal ponto de achar que esta insanidade na raça humana é algo aceitável e normal, mesmo que não estejamos de acordo.
Em nossa maioria preferimos não olhar, fingir que não existe, mas a verdade é que está lá, todos os dias, ao nosso lado. Quando acordamos, vamos trabalhar, vamos à praia, à escola, quando andamos na rua. A verdade é que o sofrimento não existe em um mundo a parte do nosso, ele vive - e inclusive se expande cada vez mais – aqui, connosco, e, por fazemos parte deste mundo, este sofrimento também faz parte de nós.
Quando pensamos estarmos separados e que nossa existência é independente dos nossos irmãos, humanos, estamos perdendo algo que na nossa língua é chamado de empatia, nos tornamos apáticos, insensíveis ao sofrimento alheio em diversos níveis. Apatia para o ser humano é algo um tanto difícil de adquirir, mas é algo que é possível de aprender... Quando olhamos para uma pessoa na rua, sem ter o que comer, onde dormir e sem perspectiva de futuro, o que fazemos? Na maioria dos casos simplesmente passamos por ela com se fosse um pedaço de esterco no chão, as vezes até com nojo, outras com medo.
Ainda assim, são muitos os que simpatizam com nossos irmãos e irmãs em sofrimento. No entanto estes muitos nada fazem, por variados motivos, tais como: não sabem o que podem fazer para ajudar ou mudar a situação desta pessoa ou deste grupo de pessoas, ou ainda que acham que sozinhas nada podem fazer e portanto de nada adianta tentar fazer.
Neste sentido o que falta de certeza é uma fonte revolucionária de ação. Um grupo social de pessoas de todos os lugares em que estivessem todos conectados e trabalhando juntos, mentalmente e fisicamente, promovendo a paz, harmonia e amor entre a raça humana de todas as maneiras possíveis, comunidades físicas localizadas em certos lugares, manifestações e protestos pacíficos, empreendimentos promovendo a integração de indivíduos socialmente excluídos e informações sociais, econômicas e politicas relevantes para um melhor entendimento do mundo que circula a nossa volta, que por mais insano e corrupto que seja, temos que conhecer.
Posso dizer que chegou a hora da raça humana erguer-se e começar a fazer algo pelos seus direitos sufocados, pela sua igualdade desequilibrada, por seus irmãos denegridos e por sua paz torturada. Todos os dias que passam nossos direitos vão diminuindo, nosso futuro parece cada vez mais difícil economicamente devido ao abuso excessivo das forças económicas dominantes que subjugam e sufocam toda a concorrência e se alimentam do desespero dos fracos.
Todos os dias somos sufocados por violência que é propagada pelo sistema social em que vivemos em que os poucos tem muito e os muitos tem muito pouco. Todos os dias milhares e milhares de pessoas adoecem e morrem por motivos que poderiam ser evitados se possuíssem água de boa qualidade e alimentação correta, mas estas opções não são lhes oferecidas por não estar nos interesses do sistema o bem estar das pessoas.
A todo momento a vida marinha, aérea e terrestre é explorada em prol do crescimento econômico. Nossos irmãos animais nesta terra são violentados e exonerados de suas terras para transformarem-se em produtos utilizáveis por nós ou viver uma vida de sofrimento em um espaço mínimo que em humanos eram chamados a 70 anos de campos de concentração. No entanto o que é perturbador , é que eles continuam até hoje com humanos (perguntemos aos palestinos) .
Qualquer um em seu bom senso pode deduzir que nosso mundo precisa mudar, e precisa mudar agora, pois se continuar neste rumo a vida será suportável para nós, mas impossível para as próximas gerações, seja a qualquer nível que estejamos a falar.
A verdade é que estamos todos tão preocupados com nossas vidas, nossas dificuldades, trabalhos e famílias que decidimos que não temos tempo para os outros, afinal, mal temos tempo para nós mesmos. Estamos sempre em atividade, e esta atividade nos impossibilita de fazermos estes trabalhos de desenvolvimento. É exatamente assim que o sistema nos quer, constantemente ocupados para que nossas mentes não tenham tempo de olhar o mundo e tudo isto que está acontecendo a nossa volta, de reparar que isto tudo não tem razão de ser, assim nos rebelando e mudando estes paradigmas sociais que controlam nossas vidas e de nossas famílias a séculos.
As vezes chego a me perguntar se por acaso não seria melhor ir para algum outro lugar, uma comunidade em que fosse segregada, afastada desta loucura de civilização em que vivemos, cheia de stress, preocupações e sofrimento. No entanto me lembro sempre uma razão forte que me prende a esta loucura: a vontade de salvar a humanidade, de poder ajudar as pessoas a obterem paz interior, poder ajudar esta sociedade a se libertar das garras da opressão e tirania que a envolvem já a muito tempo. Sinto que sair para uma comunidade equilibrada, mais resguardada do resto do mundo, seria um tanto egoísta da minha parte, tentar obter a paz sublime e no entanto negligenciar o mundo ao meu redor sem contribuir ativamente para a diminuição do sofrimento mundial, seria a meu ver uma contradição em termos.

To see so many videos of situations of war and disparity makes a person’s head suffer many changes. The first one that can be seen superficially is sadness, something that comes from the heart, a commotion with the suffering of others that makes one want to cry, and, many times it happens in fact. I guess this is one of the few situations that make me shed tears in the name of something. So much suffering as well as human stupidity, in which we instigate ourselves to subjugate, mistreat, humiliate, torture and kill countless brothers and sisters of our own species. What is worse: In the name of what? Power. Even that the majority acts as reflex action of fear, at its bottom, the chain of suffering around the world has its roots in the human search for power, control and subjugation of the majority of the human race.
Even though we know that suffering, torture, hunger and misery are not positive things and all of us would like to eliminate these problems from the world that we live in, we simply don’t take action when we are faced with these problems in our life, some of us even get to the point of thinking that this insanity of the human race is something acceptable and normal, even if we do not agree with it.
Most of us prefer not to look, pretend it does not exist, but the truth is that is there, everyday, right next to us. When we wake up, go to work, to the beach, to school and cross the street. The truth is that suffering doesn’t happens in a separate world then ours, it lives – and expands more and more – here, with us, and we, for belonging to this world, this suffering also makes part of us.
When we think we are separated and our existence is independent of our brothers, humans, we are losing something called empathy, we became apathetic, insensible to someone else’s suffering to many degrees. Apathy is something not easy to acquire but is still learnable... When we look to a person in the street without nothing to eat, nowhere to sleep and no perspective of future, what do we do? In the majority of cases we just walk by as if the person was nothing, sometimes even with disgust, others with fear.
Even so, most of us tend to sympathize with our brothers and sisters in suffering, the thing is that we don’t do nothing, for various reasons, such as: not knowing what can be done to help or change the situation of this person or group of people, or even thinking that alone nothing they can do and so there is no point in even trying.
In this sense, what lacks it’s certainly a source of revolutionary action. A social group of people from everywhere on the globe that are all connected and working together, mentally and physically, promoting peace, harmony and love between the human society on every possible way, physical communities situated on certain places, peaceful manifestations and protests, enterprises promoting the integration of socially excluded individuals. Finally social, economic and political information relevant for a better understanding of the world that surrounds us, however insane and corrupt that it may be, we have to know about it.
I can say that it has come the time for the human race to rise up and start to do something for their suffocated rights, for their unbalanced equality, for their denigrated brothers and for their tortured peace. Every day that passes our rights are diminishing, every time our future looks more and more difficult due to the excess of abuse from the dominant economic forces whom which subdue and suffocate all the concurrence and feed on the despair of the weak.
Every day we are suffocated by violence propagated by the social system that we live in, that few have a lot and lots have very few. Every day millions and millions of people get sick and die for motifs that could be avoided if they had good quality water and correct alimentation, but these options are not offered to them for not being on the best interest of the system the well being of people.
Every moment the terrestrial, air and marine life are explored on behalf of economic growth. Our Brothers animals on this earth are aggressed and exonerated from their lands to become products usable by us or to live a life of suffering in a boxed up area that seventy years ago we would call concentration camps. However, what is really disturbing is that this behavior still happens today between humans (as we could ask the Palestinians about it).
Anyone in their right mind can deduce that our world has to change, and change now, because if it continues on this course, life may be bearable for us, bum impossible for the generations to come, be it at any kind of level we are talking about.
Truth is that we are all so preoccupied with our lives, our difficulties, works and families that we decide that we do not have time for the others, after all, we don’t even have time for ourselves. We are always active, and this activity unable us from doing these kind of developing works. It is exactly like this that the system wants us, constantly occupied so that our minds have no time to look at the world and all of this that is happening around us, to understand that all of this has no reason to exist, thus rebelling and changing these social paradigms that control our and our families lives for centuries.
Sometimes I ask myself if it wouldn’t be better for me to go somewhere else, to a community that’d be segregated and far away from this madness of civilization that we live in, full of stress, preoccupations and suffering. However I always remember a strong reason that binds me to this madness: the will to save humanity, to be able to help people to obtain interior peace, to be able to help this society to free itself from the claws of oppression and tyranny which have been surrounding it for a very long time. I feel that going to a balanced society, sheltered from the rest of the world, would be kind of selfish on my part, trying to attain sublime peace neglecting the world around me without actively contributing to the diminishment of global suffering, which would be from my point of view a contradiction in terms.
